AI agents for engineering teams

Give engineers 10+ hours back.Give leaders the full picture.

Rekogni’s agents read the work already happening in your repos, tracker and docs, then write the standups, summaries and 1:1 prep your team produces by hand. Engineers keep their focus time. Leaders stop chasing status.

The problem

Coordination work is eating the engineering week

Nobody planned for it. It arrived one recurring meeting and one status write-up at a time, and it lands hardest on the people you hired to build.

Engineers write the same status three times

Once in the standup, once in the sprint update, once again when a manager asks. Every pass is context already recorded somewhere, retyped by hand.

Managers prepare 1:1s from memory

The evidence sits in pull requests and tickets, but assembling it takes an hour nobody has. So the conversation runs on whatever both sides happen to recall.

Leaders find out too late

A stalled review or an epic that stopped moving surfaces at the end of the sprint, once the room to do something about it has gone.

Day 1

Agents read work your team has already recorded, so the first summaries are real ones.

Who it's for

What each side gets back

Engineers lose the week to writing status. Leaders lose it to chasing status. One system fixes both, because both run on the same record of the work.

For engineers

No status write-ups. No going around the room.

The standup, the weekly update and the summary your lead asks for are drafted from work you already did and already recorded. You read it, adjust anything that needs it, and send.

10+ hours a week back for building

For engineering leaders

Stop chasing status to find out where things stand.

Cycle time, aged work and stalled reviews stay current on their own, and every 1:1 or review starts from evidence rather than recall. Problems surface while there is still room to respond.

How it works

Connect once. The updates keep arriving.

Rekogni runs quietly in the background. After the first setup there is nothing to prompt, schedule or tend to.

  1. 01

    Connect

Rekogni connects to the stack your team already uses: source control, issue tracking, docs, chat and calendars. Nothing to install, no process to change.

  2. 02

    Analyse

Agents read pull requests, issues, documents and calendars, correlate that activity into real progress, and ground every line they write in the source it came from.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Done-for-you updates arrive where your team already works, and the leader view stays current, without a status meeting to feed it.

What the agents do

The recurring work, done before anyone asks

Rekogni turns the coordination work around engineering, the status writing, the prep and the reporting, into something that happens on its own.

Team agents

The weekly update writes itself

Standups, weekly and monthly summaries, retrospectives, planning inputs and changelogs are prepared before anyone asks for them.

  • Zero manual prep: the draft is ready when the meeting would have started
  • Grounded in real pull request, issue and document activity
  • Team-level and per-person views from the same underlying work
  • Delivered async into the channel or doc your team already reads

Individual agents

Every 1:1 starts from evidence, not memory

Each contributor gets their own agents: daily and weekly summaries, coaching notes, 1:1 packs, review input and goal progress.

  • Accomplishments pulled from work that actually shipped
  • Challenges surfaced before they turn into escalations
  • Development opportunities suggested from real patterns
  • Feeds performance reviews and goal progress, with no diary required

Leader visibility

See risk while it is still fixable

The workspace dashboard keeps cycle time, aged work and delivery trends current, so a slowdown shows up as a trend rather than a surprise.

  • Blockers and aged work surfaced early, with the context to act on them
  • Pull request and issue cycle time tracked per team
  • Velocity and resolution rate measured week over week
  • Framed at team and workflow level, not individual scoring

Measured, not claimed

Every run is logged, and the time it gave back is priced

Rekogni records each agent run, what it was grounded in and the minutes it saved. The value shows up as a number inside the product rather than as a line in a pitch.

  • Every agent run logged and attributed
  • Savings roll up by agent, person and workspace
  • A measurable return you can take to whoever signs the invoice

Figures shown are from our own workspace over a two-week window: 110 runs, 2,200 minutes returned.

Your source code and delivery data, handled carefully

Rekogni sits alongside your engineering systems of record. Access is scoped and read-only, data handling is documented, and the product is built to remove workflow friction, not to rank individuals.

FAQ

Questions we get asked first

What do the agents actually produce?
Written work, ready to edit and send. Standups, weekly and monthly team summaries, sprint retrospectives and planning inputs, changelogs, per-person summaries, 1:1 preparation and review input. Every one of them is drafted from your own pull request, issue and document activity, never from a template.
Do our engineers have to change how they work?
No. Rekogni reads from the tools already in your stack and runs in the background. There is no new dashboard to maintain and no process to adopt. The updates are prepared and delivered to where your team already reads.
Does this replace our standup?
It replaces the part nobody enjoys. The written status is ready before the meeting would have started, so any time you keep is spent on the conversation that genuinely needs people, not on going around the room.
Is this a surveillance or individual-ranking tool?
No. The per-person agents exist to give that person and their manager better material for a 1:1 or a review. The output goes to them, not into a leaderboard. Team-level views are framed around workflow friction such as stalled reviews and aged work, not around scoring people against each other.
How is this different from an engineering metrics dashboard?
A dashboard gives you another place to go and look. Rekogni does the work instead: it writes the update and delivers it where your team already reads. The delivery views exist so a leader can answer a question quickly, but nobody on your team has to open anything to keep them accurate.
How long does setup take?
Connecting your first sources takes minutes. Because the agents run against activity your team has already recorded, the first summaries are grounded in real history rather than waiting weeks for data to accumulate.
What does it cost?
Rekogni is $50 per seat per month, with 100 credits included per seat and credits pooled across your team. Enterprise plans add custom integrations and priority support. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
